The town of Riva del Garda is set in the north shore of Lake Garda and, with its 16.874 inhabitants, is the most important center of the region Trentino-Lake Garda. It is part of a whole that makes the locality enchanting: it borders westwards with the Monte Rocchetta and eastwards, the Monte Brione (2218 m) protects it.
The so-called "Pearl of Lake Garda" is a Mediterranean oasis at the feet of the Dolomites, with a mild climate and a vegetation made of lemon trees, palms, olive trees and laurels. The white gravel beaches, the light blue water and the fresh breeze give the town a particular charm.
