Salò is the largest city on the west shore of Lake Garda and is part of the province of Brescia. The municipal district is set at the feet of the Monte San Bartolomeo on the bay of Salò. In the south and in the west the city is surrounded by the morainic hills.

through pinewoods. From the path you can enjoy an amazing view on the Monte Baldo (main mountain of Malcesine).

", recognized as one of the most important churches of Lake Garda, the palace "Palazzo della Podestà", the today’s town hall, and other important palaces and portals.
Culture, sports, music and entertainment events animate Salò throughout the whole year. The weekly market takes place on Saturday. The picturesque surroundings around the largest city in the west of Lake Garda can be easily discovered through promenades and bike tracks.
