One of the best known resorts on the lake is located at the far end of a long, narrow peninsula. Particularly at weekends when the place is crowded with Italians on a week-end outing and tourists from all over the world, the romantic old town becomes a colourful mixture of movement. The entrance to the centre is controlled by the castle Rocca Scaligera.
